I celebrated my birthday doing exactly what I wanted: flying from Portland to NYC to catch Sleep No More- both the late show so I could begin my birthday there- and then the early show the next night. I won’t ramble on about the particulars- rest assured both journeys were beautiful and amazing- but I wanted to write about a few things that had me going from “OK, I think I can wait a while to see this again,” to “I will be back here in October or sooner.”
